Dr. Sharon K. Ninness is an educator, writer, and researcher. She recently retired from TAMU-C as an adjunct professor the Dept. of Ed. Leadership, where she taught doctoral courses. Currently, she writes grants for nonprofits. Previously, Sharon taught secondary and special education courses at SFA as well as English courses at Angelina College. Sharon holds the following degrees: a B.A. in English and Spanish, M.Ed. in Educational Leadership, and Ed.D. in Educational Administration and Supervision from Stephen F. Austin State University. She also holds a M.Ed. in Special Education from Texas Woman’s University. Her teaching certifications/endorsements include secondary English and Spanish, special education, elementary (general), junior high computer literacy, educational diagnostician, gifted and talented, English as a second language, and principal.
