He has been teaching\, researching and a practitioner for almost forty years. He is a licensed master's level social worker with advanced practice recognition. He has an extensive practice and research background in mental health\, cultural diversity\, working with individuals living with developmental disabilities\, program evaluation\, working in rural communities\, medical social work\, and administration in higher education.
