DESCRIPTION:A day full of shopping locally.  Whip up your favorite wassail recipe for a little friendly competition among fellow downtown business owners.  Serve this to all of the downtown shoppers on Saturday and have them vote for their favorite!  Winner gets bragging rights until 2022.\n\n\n\nHere we go a-wassailing!\n\n\n\nThe annual Wassail Fest will be from 11AM to 3 PM Saturday\, November 27th in honor of #SmallBizSaturday! Wassail will be served at various locations inside the Nacogdoches Historic Downtown District. A list of participating merchants can be picked up at Visitor Center in the square.\n\n\n\nOnce you try all the wassail you can handle\, make sure to drop your vote in the ballot box of your favorite brew. Wassail winner will be announced on the Nacogdoches Main Street Facebook Page!\n\n\n\nDon't forget: While you are here\, finish up your Christmas shopping at downtown stores and get your loved ones those items you can only find when you shop local!
