Timberland Drive in Lufkin from 4 to 5 p.m. on Tuesday\, March 31\, or to review the material online at TxDOT.gov. The online presentation will become available to the public at the same time the in-person meeting is conducted and will continue to be accessible after March 31.\n\n\n\nThe deadline to submit comments on the plan is Friday\, April 10.\n\n\n\nThe meeting is an opportunity for the public to learn more about and provide input on potential upcoming projects being considered for 2027 through 2030 throughout the Lufkin District's nine counties (Angelina\, Houston\, Nacogdoches\, Polk\, Sabine\, San Augustine\, San Jacinto\, Shelby and Trinity counties).\n\n\n\nThese projects include those funded by the state and those eligible for federal funding.\n\n\n\nThe Rural TIP is part of the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program\, which encompasses all 25 TxDOT districts and 254 Texas counties.\n\nInformation on the current and future Statewide Transportation Improvement Program is available on TxDOT.gov by searching "Statewide Transportation Improvement Program."
