DESCRIPTION:Sit and Sew: Quilted Hearts at Millard's Crossing-- Saturday\, February 15\, 11 am to 3pm\n \n\nJoin us at Millard's Crossing Historic Village on February 15 to sit and sew handmade fabric hearts to hide around our community! This will be a come and go event between 11 am and 3 pm\, so stay as long as you like and work on your basic sewing skills. After the class\, you may place hearts in a public place to be found by a random stranger to brighten their day!\n\n \n\nWould you like to participate in this project?  It is sew\, sow\, so simple:\n\n \n\n1.  Sew It:\n\nCreate a unique handcrafted heart.\n\nAttach a tag listing the web site www.ifaqh.com and\, "I Need A Home."\n\n \n\n2.  Sow It:\n\nPut it in a public place to be found by someone you don't know.\n\nThink of clever places where someone would not be expecting to see a quilted heart.\n\n \n\n3.  So It: Can find a new home!\n\nEnjoy the thought of the heart being found by a complete stranger.  Check back to the I Found A Quilted Heart page and see if your heart is reported as "found."\n\n \n\nPlease feel free to bring extra supplies including: fabric scraps\, buttons\, trim\, thread\, scissors\, etc. As always\, these events are FREE to attend.
