DESCRIPTION:The Symphony Orchestra at Stephen F. Austin State University will present "The Stars of Tomorrow: Winners of the 2021 SFA Student Concerto Competition" when the ensemble performs its final concert of the fall semester at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday\, Nov. 30\, in Cole Concert Hall. This year's concerto competition winners are Sara Rosado\, Katy graduate student\, mezzo-soprano\; Stoney Shelton\, Arthur City junior\, clarinet\; Julian Torres\, Irving senior\, tuba\; Briley Patterson\, Palestine senior\, vibraphone\; and Davis Carr\, Richmond senior\, marimba. Tickets are $8 for adults\, $6 for seniors and $3 for students and youth. To purchase tickets\, call the SFA Fine Arts Box Office at (936) 468-6407 or visit finearts.sfasu.edu. For additional information\, contact the SFA School of Music at (936) 468-4602. The concert will be broadcast at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday\, Dec. 8\, on the SFA Symphony Orchestra's YouTube channel.
