DESCRIPTION:The SFA Swingin' Axes and Aces jazz ensembles will take the stage for their final concert of the academic year at 7:30 p.m. Friday\, April 11\, in Turner Auditorium. Under the direction of the SFA jazz faculty\, both ensembles will perform a dynamic program of classic big band swing alongside fresh contemporary selections for jazz ensemble. The evening will include a featured performance of Duststorm by Ben Morris\, assistant professor of composition at SFA. Join us for a night of toe-tapping\, soul-stirring jazz as we celebrate the end of another unforgettable year in the School of Music.
