DESCRIPTION:The Children's Performing Arts Series at Stephen F. Austin State University will present two performances of the uplifting show "I Have a Dream" on Friday\, Feb. 1. This compelling dramatization of the life and times of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. will inspire students as they learn about one of the most influential and charismatic leaders of the Civil Rights movement. This deeply moving history lesson presented by Virginia Repertory Theatre is written for children in second through eighth grade. Performances are at 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. in W.M.
