Austin State University School of Music faculty members Dr. Brad Meyer and Keith Lloyd will perform solos when the SFA Percussion Ensemble presents a recital at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday\, Nov. 4\, in Cole Concert Hall on the SFA campus.\n\n\n\nMeyer\, director of percussion studies at SFA and of the Percussion Ensemble\, will play the steel pan on the premiere of Baljinder Singh Sekhon II's "Passageways\," which is for solo steel pan player and percussion quintet. Lloyd will perform on "Catching Shadows\," a piece by Michael Burritt for marimba soloist with percussion trio.\n\n\n\nTickets for the recital are $8 for adults\, $6 for seniors and $3 for students and youth.
