DESCRIPTION:The jazz bands at Stephen F. Austin State University will welcome Marine Corps trombonist Gunnery Sgt. Ken Ebo to perform on a concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday\, Nov. 12\, in Cole Concert Hall on the SFA campus. The concert features the Swingin' Axes\, directed by Dr. Deb Scott\; the Swingin' Aces\, directed by Dr. J.D. Salas\; and the Swingin' Jacks\, directed by Dr. Jake Walburn. The Axes will perform with trombonist Ebo\, who is music placement director for the Marine Corps music program for the southwestern U.S. According to Scott\, Ebo is returning to perform at SFA "by popular demand."
