DESCRIPTION:The Pineywoods Camerata at Stephen F. Austin State University will perform Baroque music from Germany and Italy when faculty members and students present a recital at 4 p.m. Sunday\, Feb. 26\, in Cole Concert Hall in the Wright Music Building on the SFA campus. The Pineywoods Camerata is a string faculty-led\, conductorless ensemble dedicated to performing Baroque works with an informed stylistic approach. New faculty member Pablo Moreno Holguin\, oboe\, will be featured as a soloist on Alessandro Marcello's Concerto in C minor\, one of the best known works of the period for oboe. The concert also features Dr. Minhae Lee\, harpsichord\, and SFA string students. Concert tickets are $8 for adults\, $6 for seniors and $3 for students and youth.
