DESCRIPTION:Join us to celebrate the history of this special city park and the many hands who helped make necessary improvements possible! Temple Park was once a city pool.\n\n\n\nSince 2000\, it has served the community as the only free water play area in a Nacogdoches city park. Through 2 years of fundraising efforts by the Parks Advocacy League of Nacogdoches (PAL)\, Temple Park now boasts 3 new shades\, 3 new picnic tables\, a new safety fence\, and a soon-to-be-installed swing set!\n\n\n\nA rededication ceremony will be held at Noon\, with hours of live music\, food\, live art sidewalk chalk drawings\, and activities for kids before and after!
