DESCRIPTION:Come join us for the kick-off fundraising event for the Parks Advocacy League of Nacogdoches' (PAL) third city park update project! Robert McCrimmon (Woden Rd) Park will have the basketball court painted\, tables and benches installed and the playground replaced with a large\, new structure. This 3on3 basketball tournament is for players ages 18+ for timed games in a single-elimination bracket. Teams will be named after different Nacogdoches mentors and heroes in the Black community in honor of the park's namesake\, Robert McCrimmon\, an African American citizen remembered for his integrity and influence. Register your team to play on the PAL Nacogdoches FB page! Or come cheer the players on! Food trucks\, merchandise vendors\, activities for kids\, and a live DJ will make this festival fun for everyone while we raise funds for McCrimmon Park!
