DESCRIPTION:The Judy B. McDonald Public Library is celebrating National Poetry Month with the 3nd Annual Poetry Contest. Entries are being accepted now until April 17th\, 2015 in 3 categories: Junior High\, High School\, and Adult. The contest is open to anyone residing in Nacogdoches County. Each individual may submit one (1) poem. Entries may be on any subject matter\, but must be suitable for a general audience\, original\, and not previously published. First\, second\, and third places will be awarded in each category. Copies of the poetry booklet with entries will be presented to each entrant. The library reserves the right to print\, in whole or in part\, any entry in the contest. ENTRIES WILL NOT BE RETURNED\, so please copy your work before submitting it to the library!
