He attended the Nelson Rusche College of Business at Stephen F. Austin State University where he earned both a Bachelor of Business Administration and Masters of Business Administration degree. \n\n \n\nGabe started his banking career with CBTx in early 2002 as a part-time teller while attending undergraduate courses at SFA. His job descriptions with CBTx have included being a teller\, new account representative\, loan officer\, teller supervisor\, credit analyst\, and branch manager. He has also underwritten loans for the indirect department\, as well as\, for commercial loans requiring committee approval.\n\n \n\nGabe has been married 10 years to his amazing wife\, Amber\, and together they have a son and daughter. He is currently the chapter president of the local civic organization The Nacogdoches Jaycees and has been involved with numerous non-profits over the years. He is an outdoorsman and enjoys hunting\, fishing\, and spending time with his family.
