This Act provides designed funding to support small business impacted by COVID-19.  While some components of the program are similar to the CARES ACT passed in March 2020\, there are some key differences. She has been with the SBDC as a part-time business advisor for the past 5 years and recently became the Director when Larry Cain retired.  A native East Texan\, Dianne graduated from Nacogdoches High School\, attended SFA and graduated with a BBA in accounting from Sam Houston University.  She and her husband\, Jim owned a CPA practice in Lufkin for many years. Dianne has a strong background in accounting and was a Budget Analyst for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. After she retired in 2014\, she began working for the SBDC part-time.   She is passionate about the success of small businesses and economic development of our beautiful East Texas region.
