The Lunch Hour Book Club is held every other Wednesday at noon and participants bring in whatever they?re currently reading to discuss\, recommend or pan.  ?The book club?s goal is to be flexible and afford the opportunity to meet with like-minded people who want an alternative to the traditional book club\,? says Crystal Hicks\, assistant library director.  ?In a traditional book club\, everyone reads the same book\, and we?ve found that to be too restrictive.  We always have a great time as a group\, introducing each other to books that we might not have otherwise discovered on our own.?
