The summit is produced by the chamber's Government Affairs committee chaired by Donna Finley.\n\n\n\n"The committee members and I look forward to working again with event co-hosts State Senator Robert Nichols and State Representative Travis Clardy to bring a significant number of state legislators to Nacogdoches\," Finley said. "In 2018\, we clearly communicated and discussed our concerns for education\, healthcare\, transportation\, natural resources and other topics of interest for the East Texas region. We will soon begin identifying the needs of the region and crafting an agenda that facilitates meaningful discussions."\n\nAll from the area will be invited to attend the evening Legislative Reception and Media Madness panel discussion on April 16 at The Fredonia Hotel and Convention Center\, as well as the day-long meeting on April 17 at Stephen F. Austin State University that will include guest speaker presentations and additional panel discussions.
