DESCRIPTION:Freedom Fest will be held at Festival Park\, located just south of the downtown square in Nacogdoches on July 4th from 5pm to 9:30 pm.\n\nThere will be food for sale\, activities for kids\, a washers tournament\, hotdog eating contest\, and music. \n\n\n\nAfter dark we'll celebrate with a fireworks show.\n\nAnnual "Freedom Fest" this 4th of July\n\nFamilies are invited for food\, games\, contests\, music and more-- all part of the annual Freedom Fest hosted by the Nacogdoches Jaycees.  This all-American event is free to the public and will include a spectacular firework show after dark.\n\n \n\nThe event will be held in Festival Park\, just south of downtown Nacogdoches\, on July 4\, starting at 5pm.  Washer Tournament sign ups ($20/team) will be on site\, commencing competition at 6pm.  There will also be a free-to-enter Hotdog Eating Competition at 6:30pm.  Food vendors\, a children's activity area\, and other community sponsors will be present as well to ensure a great evening for all.\n\n\n\nThe Nacogdoches Jaycees organizes this free community event with the help of local sponsors\, and welcomes any additional financial support.
