DESCRIPTION:The Fourth Friday Luncheon is noon to 1 p.m.\, April 27 at Austin Hall\, 4606 North St.\n\n\n\nGuest speaker Sherry Morgan\, Executive Director of the Nacogdoches Convention & Visitors Center will present "The Power of Tourism\, an exploration of current trends in travel and tourism and their direct effect on our daily lives and businesses here in Nacogdoches.." Attend and hear about the economic impact of day travelers as well as overnight stays\; Hotel Occupancy Tax and Short Term Rentals\; and the evolving role of the visitors center in today's travel landscape.\n\n\n\nAll attending may enter the $50 drawing sponsored by Commercial Bank of Texas\, and all Chamber members are entered in a $250 drawing sponsored by Axley & Rode\, LLP\, but you must be present to win. Lunch is $16 and attendee RSVPs are requested by 4 p.m.\, Wednesday\, April 25.
