DESCRIPTION:SFA's Center for Career and Professional Development\, the College of Business and Nacogdoches Economic Development Corporation is working with the Chamber and community partners to connect the proper business students with owners and managers as interns. The lunch program will explain the proper procedures to implement internships positions and the best practices and procedures for placing the right SFA student in a business internship program.\n\n	  "Creating an Internship Program" will explore how local employers can benefit from creating an internship program\, how to get started recruiting at SFA\, and how students benefit from participating in local internship opportunities. SFA and NEDCO have partnered to create the Internship Insider\, a quick-start guide for creating an internship program\, which will be shared with attendees. \n	The Center for Career and Professional Development will be giving away a door prize of a free registration for a Fall 2019 or Spring 2020 Career Expo - up to a $270 value\, which includes expo attendance\, a meal and parking passes for two recruiters. Attendees should stop by the CCPD table to drop off a business card for entry.
