Located in Lufkin and Nacogdoches\, she and her team work with individuals\, couples\, families\, and children to create meaningful life changes and strengthen relationships. Dr. Cooper has over 70 hours of specialized training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and also integrates evidence-based approaches such as CBT\, Trauma-Focused CBT\, and Solution-Focused Therapy. She is a member of the Texas Psychological Association and is passionate about empowering clients with skills to navigate challenges and foster lasting positive change.\n\n\n\nAbout Alana Culpepper-Robertson\n\nA native of Nacogdoches\, Tx.\n\nFor the past 10 years she has dedicated her time around East Texas as the Director of community education for Oceans Behavioral Hospital in Lufkin\, Texas. Following the legacy of her mother of helping those who suffer with mental illnesses. She is also the founder of Nac Safe Place a community-based nonprofit dedicated to providing a safe\, supportive environment where individuals can find hope\, encouragement\, and access to mental-health resources. Through outreach\, education\, and compassionate listening\, Nac Safe Place works to reduce stigma\, promote mental wellness\, and connect people in East Texas with the support they need .
