DESCRIPTION:The Texas Forest Trail Region is pleased to announce\, market research guru Ben Smithee\, will be the Keynote Speaker at this year's annual membership summit sponsored by the Nacogdoches Convention & Visitors Bureau. Ben is the Chief Strategy Officer for the inovative experiential events group RELEVENTS\, and Co-founder and Strategic Advisor for Spych Market Analytics. Opening the Door to On-location Filming: In this workshop\, Alicia Downard\, Production & Community Relations Specialist for the Texas Film Commission will guide our group through the ins and outs of on-location filming. Tuesday night\, the Forest Trail will host a special screening of Tomato Republic\, a documentary featurette filmed in Jacksonville\, Texas and winner of the 2014 Special Judges Prize at the Dallas International Film Festival. Additional sessions include destination training\, public art & tourism and hotel motel taxes. Registration & lodging are avaliable March 24.
