He currently serves as dean of the Arthur Temple College of Forestry and Agriculture.  He earned forestry degrees from Purdue\, Clemson and Auburn universities.  Prior to SFA\, he was employed as a forested wetlands ecologist with the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers\, Waterways Experiment Station\, where he conducted research in bottomland hardwood restoration and provided Clean Water Act related wetlands technical support to Corps Districts.\n\n\n\n\n\nRegister and enter a $50 cash drawing sponsored by Commercial Bank of Texas.\n\nAll Chamber members are entered in a $250 drawing but you must be present to win sponsored by Axley & Rode\, LLP.
