Austin State University School of Art will host the exhibition "Devon Nowlin: Don't Deny Your Heart" Oct. 20 through Dec. 9 in Griffith Gallery in the Griffith Fine Arts Building on the SFA campus. The exhibition\, which is sponsored by the Texas Commission on the Arts and the SFA Friends of the Visual Arts\, will feature paintings and altered digital prints. Her work reflects a personal and market-driven desire to "curate environments and personas that aspire for a lifestyle of casual luxury\," Nowlin said. A reception with the artist is at 5 p.m. Thursday\, Oct. 20\, in Griffith Gallery. Admission is free. For more information\, call (936) 468-1131. Gallery is only open Tuesdays through Fridays from 12:20 P.M. - 5:00 P.M.
