SUMMARY:Community Volunteers needed to judge at a Speech & Debate Tournament
DESCRIPTION:I am excited to tell you about an upcoming speech and debate tournament where many Nacogdoches volunteers are needed to serve as judges.\n\n\n\nThe NCFCA is holding the tournament at Calvary Baptist Church in Nacogdoches on Thursday\, March 30\, 2017 to Saturday\, April 01\, 2017.\n\n\n\nThose willing to judge will hear high school students debating topics such as rehabilitation and retribution in the criminal justice system\, United States policy reforms with the People's Republic of China\, and many other current topics. With 11 different Speech categories\, 2 types of Debate\, and over 200 students expected\, we are in need of about 400 judges! In order to make this possible\, we need many willing individuals from the community over the course of the three day event. Our students rely on our judges' valuable feedback for improvement\, growth\, and encouragement.\n\n\n\nNo experience in either speech or debate is necessary\, we provide you with a quick orientation. All we need is the investment of time. You can judge just one round or numerous rounds.\n\n\n\nComplimentary light meals\, snacks and drinks are provided. Those wanting to sign up to judge can go to www.ncfcajudges.com then click on "Texas" on the map and follow the instructions from there. If you have any problems please let me know.
