McDonald Public Library will celebrate the newest book in the Captain Underpants series\, The Tyrannical Retaliation of the Turbo Toilet by Dav Pilkey\, with a book release party on Friday\, August 29th at 4:00 p.m.\n\n\n\nThe Captain Underpants series follows the misadventures of George and Harold\, two nice\, but mischievous kids.\n\n\n\nThe series began in 1997 and is popular all over the world. The event will feature readings from the various books\, cape making\, and a chance to be the first person to check out the latest book.\n\n\n\nChildren may come dressed as their favorite character from the books. All ages are welcome.\n\n\n\nFor more information about library programs\, please call 559-2970.
