DESCRIPTION:The Stone Fort Chorale kicks off its second season with a Night at the Theater\, a concert that will feature chorus and solo selections from operas\, broadway shows\, and movie themes. With choruses from such notable composers ranging from Verdi\, Britten\, Bernstein\, Sondheim\, and Paulus\, the concert promises to deliver a wide variety of music that will please our audience! The show will also feature several of our talented soloists singing selections by Rossini\, Rogers and Hammerstein\, Gershwin\, Mitch Leigh\, and Bernstein. It will genuinely be a NIGHT AT THE THEATER. Our concerts will be: Saturday\, October 15 at 3:30 at Henderson First United Methodist Church Sunday\, October 16 at 3:30 at Nacogdoches First United Methodist Church. Admission is free to attend this concert! The chorus was founded in July\, 2021\, by a group of passionate choral singers/musicians from the greater East Texas community. The members of the chorus share a love of choral music and a commitment to excellence.
