DESCRIPTION:The A Cappella Choir at Stephen F. Austin State University is one of only two university choirs to be invited to perform at this year's Southwestern American Choral Directors Association conference slated for Feb. 27 through March 2 in Denver\, Colorado. The choir\, directed by Dr. Michael Murphy\, director of choral activities at SFA\, will present a preview concert of this performance at 7:30 p.m. Monday\, Feb. 26\, in Cole Concert Hall\, Wright Music Building\, on the SFA campus. Concert tickets are $8 for adults\, $6 for seniors and $3 for students and youth. To purchase tickets\, call the SFA Fine Arts Box Office at (936) 468-6407 or visit finearts.sfasu.edu.
