DESCRIPTION:The Junior League of Lufkin Announces Their 3rd Annual Second Chance Rummage Sale \n\n \n\nFor more than 60 years\, the women of The Junior League of Lufkin have been working to build a better community and we are excited to continue this work through fundraising project\, The JLL's Second Chance Rummage Sale!\n\n \n\nThe Second Chance Rummage Sale will serve the community directly by providing much needed items at greatly reduced prices and by donating hundreds of dollars in Second Chance Cash vouchers to other organizations such as the Family Crisis Center of East Texas   The Women's Shelter\, the Mosaic Center\, and Buckner Family Services just to name a few.  These clients will be able to redeem the Second Chance Cash vouchers for much needed merchandise at the Rummage Sale.  \n\n \n\nPoverty remains an urgent problem within the United States and we witness it each day right here in our own backyard.  With close to 20% of Angelina County residents living below the poverty level\, it is critical that we serve those in need.  Many of our neighbors in Angelina County cannot afford basic items required for daily living such as food\, clothing and shelter and others will be overlooked for employment opportunities because of these limited resources.  \n\n \n\nThe Second Chance Rummage Sale has amazing deals!
