Name: Seminar on the Changing Landscape of Fair Housing
Date: September 12, 2017
Time: 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM CDT
Event Description:

Not your typical Fair Housing class, this session will provide detailed information on new rules and guidelines established by HUD in regard to Criminal Background Checks, Emotional Animals, and the most confusing issue of all, Disparate Impact.  Even the supplier (vendor) members we hire can get us sued, so it’s not a bad idea to invite them to attend as well.
So much has changed recently, and Fair Housing Compliance organizations are out in force.  They are shopping you by phone and in person.  It doesn't’t matter if you win or lose, the smallest mistake can become a big headache. No matter what size your property or your portfolio, you cannot afford to miss this class.
