Join us to celebrate the history of this special city park and the many hands who helped make necessary improvements possible! Temple Park was once a city pool.
Since 2000, it has served the community as the only free water play area in a Nacogdoches city park. Through 2 years of fundraising efforts by the Parks Advocacy League of Nacogdoches (PAL), Temple Park now boasts 3 new shades, 3 new picnic tables, a new safety fence, and a soon-to-be-installed swing set!
A rededication ceremony will be held at Noon, with hours of live music, food, live art sidewalk chalk drawings, and activities for kids before and after!
