Texas Arbor Day Celebration Saturday November 8 ,2014, 10:00 AM- 12 noon Banita Creek Park North, next to the Farmers Market.
The Nacogdoches Garden Capital of Texas Committee, SFA Gardens, Keep Nacogdoches Beautiful, Nacogdoches Parks & Recreation, Nacogdoches PAL, City of Nacogdoches and Texas A&M Forest Service invite you to participate in Texas Arbor Day.
Volunteers and financial donations will help us plant a line of 90 fringe trees along Pearl Street, and a grove of native shade trees throughout Banita Creek Park North. The line of fringe trees will create a dramatic effect with their white blooms in mid-spring and again in fall with brilliant yellow fall color
Contact Buzz Dutton with Keep Nacogdoches Beautiful to volunteer and/or donate AT keepnacbeautiful.org/donate_membership_merchandise, or mail donations for Keep Nacogdoches Beautiful P.O. Box 633030 Nacogdoches, Texas 75963-3030.
We need donations to cover the cost of the trees and Volunteers to help plant the trees. By encouraging the planting and nurturing of trees, Arbor Day celebrates all the ways trees enrich our lives and stabilize our environment.
