The Stephen F. Austin State University School of Art and the Friends of the Visual Arts will present a free, one-night screening of "Jiro Dreams of Sushi" at 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 1, in The Cole Art Center @ The Old Opera House in downtown Nacogdoches. Directed by David Gelb,
"Jiro Dreams of Sushi" is the story of 85-year-old Jiro Ono, considered by many to be the world?s greatest sushi chef. He is the proprietor of Sukiyabashi Jiro, a 10-seat, sushi-only restaurant located in a Tokyo subway station.
This screening is part of the School of Art's monthly Friday Night Film Series. The Cole Art Center is located at 329 E. Main St. For more information, call (936) 468-1131.
